1. The Venice Blues and BBQ Festival is now a Florida BBQ Association Sanctioned Event
2. Entry Fee: $350 per team. (Teams must compete in all categories to be eligible for the Overall Champion position.
3. Electric, Water, and Sewage will be provided for all cook teams.
4. Cook Team sites are 20’x40’.
5. Setup/Arrival for the event begins on Thursday, March 20 after 2 pm and should be complete by 9 pm that evening.
6. A designated quiet time of 10pm – 7am will be in effect Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Failure to observe quiet hours may subject the offender(s) to removal from the contest site. Additionally, Cook Team site music must be kept at a level as to not detract from the live onstage festival performances.
7. Meat inspection begins at Noon on Friday.
8. FBA rules, available here, require all cook teams' Head Cooks to be Members of the Florida BBQ Association. Please enter the Head Cook's Member number in the below application. If currently not a FBQ Member you can become one by going to:

to join the FBA in order for the application to be processed.
